Chicken Hub is a busy takeaway food outlet in Aberfoyle Park offering ‘Food from the Heart’. Architectural elements were incorporated to define the counter area and create a sense of warmth and textural interest. A new dining and waiting area were added, considered lighting draws the eye to the retail zone and provision for digital ordering and a collection window future proof the site. We highly recommend their self-proclaimed “best chips in Adelaide”!

Based in a residential home, Couture Patisserie is a bakery specialising in customised cakes and food sculpture. The brief required a larger kitchen suitable for both commercial and domestic use for a creative, eclectic chef. TKD provided a new open plan layout, incorporating extended galley kitchen and light filled dining space. Stainless steel, concrete and partially exposed brickwork provided the industrial style they were looking for!

school kitchen renovation | classroom fit-out

Feel-good project… yes please! A huge collaboration within the building industry was to renovate the school for sick patients and their families. TKD were tasked to redesign the adult and children’s kitchen, and classroom kitchenette. An enormous challenge to raise the funds and resources to make it happen; we feel honoured to have been a part of this rewarding project!

Working with the lovely SBC committee was a heart-warming experience. We relocated a very tired clubroom bar to provide a roomier dining area. Incorporating club colours, a coolroom improved efficiency and the new layout provides a far more functional, social environment. We love this slick, modern clubroom!

TKD transformed an old bakery in the hub of Walkerville into a funky, bustling café. We opened the space to the street with stacking windows and teamed a warm pastel palette with Scandi-industrial styling. A striking timber wall feature enhances the built-in upholstered seating, providing that much-needed point of difference to the area!

A retro turntable is the heart of Lindsay Wine Estate’s cellar door renovation, providing an interesting theme in this popular wine region! We tease the senses with music, wine and an eclectic mix of rustic industrial style. A huge vinyl collection is safely concealed, while the extensive wine collection is proudly showcased to perfection. Vintage timber combines elegantly with marble and aged copper to provide a timeless appeal!
